Roshi Taigen Gisan (Taigen Shigen), mestre Rinzai da 4a. geração desde Hakuin Ekaku, foi sucessor do Dharma de Inzan Ien.

Nos anos 20, foi Abade do templo Tenryu-ji, Japão.

Roshi Taigen Gisan transmitiu o Dharma para:

  1. Gisan Zenrai (1802-1878)
  2. Shoen Daisetsu, Daisetsu Jo’en, Daisetsu So’en (1797-1855)
  3. Etan Daishin (1792-1870)
